Amid ongoing concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak around the world and close to home, we want to update you about what PRT is doing to best deal with the situation.
We wish to emphasize we remain open for business, are fully operational and have taken steps to ensure we will be able to continue to carry out our growing services for you under changing and challenging circumstances.
We have a robust continuity plan in place and have taken precautionary measures to ensure the health and well being of our employees, customers and families.
We have made it a priority to monitor the situation closely and are prepared to respond to the rapidly changing nature of this pandemic. Should the need arise, many of our team members are able to work remotely, supported by our highly competent IT infrastructure. Your information will remain confidential and secure on our servers.
Our Customer Support team members (CSRs and CSAs) continue to be available to connect with you by phone, email or GoToMeeting — or in person, as you request. PRT has instituted rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols at every PRT office and nursery to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers. We are monitoring WHO, Health Canada and US government recommendations around workplace wellness and safety and will be quick to adapt our approach, as needed.
To limit the potential impact of COVID-19, PRT has instituted significant travel restrictions and followed Federal and regional governmental guidelines which mandated self-isolation for any employee showing symptoms, or who have reason to believe they have been exposed. We also are deferring attendance at social events and conferences, non-essential travel and utilizing technology to hold virtual meetings.
PRT is committed to ongoing communications with customers and employees as the situation evolves.
At this time our thoughts are with those in our communities that have been affected by the virus, and our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the extensive network of care workers who are working tirelessly to help those in need.
We value your business and your safe working relationship with PRT is our priority.
Please contact our Customer Support team with any questions.
Sincerely,
Rob Miller, President & CEO
